At My Skin Clinic Training Academy, we thrive to ensure that all of our trainees come out with the sound knowledge and confidence to enter and excel in the world of Aesthetic Medicine.
To achieve this our doctors and surgeons have devised a 5-Step-Approach.
1. Anatomy of the Face
Learning about the detailed relevant anatomy of the face, safe injection sites, blood vessels to avoid and how to inject safely. Learn how to crete a ‘Natural Look’ and not a Frozen Face like the Botox treatments of the past.
2. The Aesthetic Consultation
Learn about how to effectively explore a patients ideas and expectations from their treatments, discuss realistic outcomes, How to ‘Face Map’ your patient and follow up plans.
3 .Hands on Training
Theres nothing quite like hands on training. Our trainers are highly skilled and will guide you through the process of injecting and supervise you whilst you deal with your own patients on the training day. We aim to ensure that all trainees get to do ALL the procedures learnt on the selected models present, so that nobody leaves without any experience.
4. Knowing your Limitations and Managing Complications
Knowning which patients require treatments and knowing when to stop is not easy on the private side of Medicine. Our trainers will teach you the skills required to be able to know which of your patients you should not inject and in case of any complications-how best to deal with them with the latest safety techniques available.
5. Setting up your Successful Business
Lots of professionals go on so called ‘botox courses’ and come out with a certificate and no job. Well at My Skin Clinic, our trainers already run their successful clinics in London and will be able to guide you on the secrets of the trade, how to survive in an already saturated market and how to keep yourself above the rest. We also keep an eye out for potential trainees who we feel are exceptional and may be offered a job or supervised experience at one of our clinics.
